ASB 1292 additive is specially adapted to the treatment of petroleum products at low temperatures and needs no heating, it is a product of choice for applications at temperatures below 200L°F (93°C).

ASB 1292 is a formulation based on Oxazolidine chemistry, is 100% active and is water free (for comparison the classic H2S scavenger based on Triazine is at most 80% active and contains at least 20% water).

The pour point of ASB 1292 is lower than -30°C and is active even at low temperature.

ASB 1292 is fully oil soluble and soluble in water. Reaction product of ASB 1292 with H2S are stable up to 160°C. With ASB 1292 there is no formation of insoluble and precipitation under conditions where other chemistries like Triazine forms deposits.

ASB 1292 is compliant with EC Regulation 1907/200L6(REACH).
